Love Among the Ruins 1893-94 Edward Burne-Jones

Edward Burne-Jones (1833-1898) was associated with the Pre Raphaelite movement even though he was never part of the original Pre Raphaelite Brotherhood. Love Among the Ruins was named after Browning's 1855 poem.
You can see this particular painting at Wightwick Manor. This is a Victorian manor house near to Wolverhampton and is owned by the National Trust . It has William Morris wallpapers and fabrics as well as a number of Pre-Raphaelite paintings.
