Andrea Mantegna, 1431 - 1506
Mantegna was an Italian Renaissance artist and painted many frescoes for churches, chapels and private apartments as well as producing a large number of (mostly) egg tempera paintings. He was also famous as an engraver. Most of his paintings are of religious subjects.
You can read more about Mantegna at Wikipedia.

The Agony in the Garden, c.1460, Egg tempera on wood, 62.9 x 80 cm.
This is the right panel of the predella of the San Zeno Altarpiece, 1455 National Gallery, London
The garden here refers to the garden of Gethsemane, the biblical location where Jesus supposedly spent the night before the crucifixion. You can see Jesus praying and the angels (or putti) carrying the instruments of the Passion - you can just make out one of them holding a cross in this small image but you can see it in much greater detail on the National Gallery website. In the foreground are the disciples and in the background are soldiers, along with Judas, coming to arrest Jesus.
You can also find a larger image of this painting at Wikipedia.
