Albert Joseph Moore 1841-1893
Albert Moore was born in York into a family of artists. His subjects tends to be painted in pastel colours and in classical settings. He also designed wallpaper, tiles and stained glass for William Morris. He was a great friend of Whistler and you can read more about him at
